

The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an internationally recognized methodology that evaluates the environmental impact of products or processes throughout their life cycle. In our case, we applied LCA to analyze the environmental impacts associated with the production of three types of our fabrics, using 1 kg of fabric as a functional unit:
The study is carried out in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 14040:2021 and UNI EN ISO 14044:2021 standards. The SimaPro software and the ReCiPe Midpoint method were used, allowing the evaluation of 17 impact categories. A cradle-to-gate approach was used, considering emissions from the extraction of raw materials to the distribution of the products.
