GOALS

We produce fabrics of a quality that is not only excellent, but that protects and improves the entire textile chain. Environmental certifications are fundamental tools for managing mandatory environmental requirements and step by step we want to adopt every possible means to ensure that our fabrics increasingly respect our sustainable value.

Texmoda has obtained the GRS certification relating to the traceability of the regenerated products it produces: it is recognition of a virtuous process and constant attention to the regenerated materials used, to offer a certified and transparent product. We recognize the importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model, with the aim of promoting the reduction of resource consumption (virgin raw materials, water and energy) and increasing the quality of recycled products.
We are BCI certified providing training on more sustainable farming practices to more than 2 million cotton farmers who are now producing the most sustainable cotton. In this way, we help reduce the environmental impact of cotton production, improve livelihoods and economic development in cotton-producing areas, and improve the commitment and flow of Better Cotton throughout the supply chain.

Texmoda has received the certification which guarantees the origin of the linen fiber from European cultivations with the following characteristics:

• no irrigation (99.9% certified by CELC)

• no use of GMOs

• rotation of plantations

• reduced use of fertilizers and pesticides

• natural maceration in the field

• no waste – the entire plant is used

• fully mechanical extraction of the fibers (scutching)

• compliance with the rules of the International Labor Organization throughout the supply chain

This is our latest certification obtained regarding the content of natural fibers from organic farming of both intermediate and finished products, the maintenance of traceability throughout the entire production process, restrictions on the use of chemicals and compliance with environmental and social criteria at all stages of the production chain.

Texmoda collaborates with FSC certified yarn suppliers for viscose and cotton.  FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.

Certified products can be traced back to:

• sustainably managed forests

• controlled sources

• recycled materials

• rights of workers and local populations

Canopy’s mission is to protect the world’s forests, species and climate, and to help advance the rights of indigenous communities.
EcoVero derives from the processing of wood pulp through a sustainable circular process. It is a revolutionary fiber patented by Lenzing AG, an Austrian fiber manufacturer. Ecovero is an eco-responsible viscose produced with a system that reduces both emissions into the environment and water consumption by about 50%, therefore much more sustainable than traditional viscose. Garments containing EcoVero are certified OEKO TEX Standard 100 and Organic Content Standard (OCS) Blended, 70% EcoVero blended with 30% organic cotton.
We have successfully completed Supplier to Zero (Level 2) to bring our fabrics into compliance with the ZDHC MRSL standard for chemical safety, focusing on the principles of transparency and management of chemicals according to an integrated approach of prevention and precaution.
We can also find yarns containing polyamide and polyester from recycled PET or fishing nets.
Texmoda has proudly completed this important self-assessment form (FEM 2023) on our degree of sustainability, to be able to share it with all our customers and suppliers by spreading the message of possible sustainable fashion.
