GRS
Texmoda Tessuti has obtained the GRS certification for products made with recycled materials and that follow a sustainable model from an environmental and social point of view. This certification allows to verify transparency and traceability throughout the entire production process.
GOTS
The Global Organic Textile Standard concerns the content of natural fibers from organic farming in both intermediate and finished products, the maintenance of traceability throughout the entire production process, restrictions in the use of chemical products and compliance with environmental and social criteria in all phases of the production chain. The two most used organic materials are undoubtedly organic cotton and organic wool present in our certified fabrics.
RWS
Texmoda Tessuti has obtained RWS which is part of the RAF (Responsible Animal Fiber) which is the most important standard for the certification of products that contain animal fibers from responsible farms, in our case it is sheep.
OCS BLENDED
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) ensures the organic origin of a textile fiber of natural origin, especially organic cotton. The OCS Blended certification applies to products containing 5% to 94% organic fibers, also mixed with non-organic materials.
OCS 100
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) certifies the biological origin of natural textile fibers, especially organic cotton. OCS 100 certification ensures that the product contains at least 95% certified organic fibers.
EUROPEAN FLAX
Texmoda has received the certification that guarantees the origin of the linen fiber from European crops, guaranteeing quality and certifying traceability at every stage of processing.
BCI
We are certified Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) which promotes a more sustainable and conscious cultivation of cotton in order to reduce the environmental impact of its cultivation and production. In addition to the environmental theme, the BCI has a 360-degree view of the concept of sustainability by paying attention to the workers themselves with dignified working conditions.
